Personality: He enjoys fun and seems to absorb knowledge like a sponge, the latter trait being the source of his skill with weapons design. He will often play up the stereotypical "Gunny" persona to those who seem stuffy and primp, but will show his lighter side to his friends. He is a passionate and almost-obsessive creature, often losing himself in his interests for days at a time.
Flaws: After a particularly tragic mission, Darius developed a paralyzing fear of the cockpits of small craft. He can be naive and foolish at times, letting his bravado and pride get the best of him.
